Foodies Out of the Metro

How we love to just grab a slice of pizza, or perhaps some chips and soda! This, surely, will already make our day. It is nothing fancy. It is cool and hey, it is already refreshing. Yet once in a while, we deserve a good treat. And this may also mean a hop out of the city or perhaps, how about paying for the view, as well? This is when we travel to Tagaytay.

Going to such a spot with a cooler breeze than usual is good for everyone. It is a change of ambiance a few minutes away from the metro. It would not consume much of our precious time and we do not need as well to look for some cozy place where we can stay overnight because transpo is just there to take us back to our main abode. It is a known place for the ManileƱos. Vehicles are accessible to reach our destination. And for some foodies, how about some Josephine moments? The dishes are great. And the ambiance is oh so fine—of whether you stay indoors or outdoors where you will experience a great view of the lake. Indoors look like fine dining and outdoors is a total al fresco ambiance. Either way, surely it will be a blast of relaxing meal. The best part? Not in a chance that it will rip off your pocket. The servings are large and cheap compared to overall quality of your dining experience. The dishes are very Filipino. Yet, of course when we speak of Filipino, expect a little Mexican too like seafood paella and some other more. If you visit the place where it is just a couple of you or perhaps three enjoying your meal, 700-800 pesos will be enough for two to three dishes. And if this will be too much, then you can tell you still have your “take out”. It is a total art out there. It is like living a landscape painting for real just by dining across a great view of the Taal Lake.
