On the Table

With a reason to celebrate, my parents invited some of their close friends to come at our place for a simple dinner party. It was a thanksgiving for their unica hija's college graduation. When I learned that they are going to throw a party for me, I told them to keep everything simple. In fact, I even suggested an exclusive family buffet lunch at our favorite hotel in the city instead of the house party.

They were kind of shocked with my request especially that they are aware about my interest in grand social gatherings. Well, maybe things have already changed in my life. My preferences before were already changed to new ones.

Without my knowledge, they sent invitations to our relatives from the provinces and abroad. So, as expected, our little home was filled again with visitors. A large percentage of the people who came were friends of my mom and dad. I only had fifteen or less visitors of which one of them is A (the sweetest bf). Of course, a party isn't a party without a table full of great foods! Below are some of the meals prepared on my graduation thanksgiving party.
All meals were made from the meat of beef (one full beef was slaughtered)! There was also two lechon to cater a large number of visitors. Special thanks to my mom's sister-in-law and nanay's sister for preparing all the delicious meals.

  19. I love it gene! Your parents really love you that they still settled on celebrating with people so that they can brag about the success of their unica hija. Ganyan naman ang mga magulang. And I'm sure that with all those foods, theyll certainly gain weight! Especially the sweetest bf! Ansasarap pa naman. I just don't see any veggies? But then it's what you call celebration!!! Cheers to you sis!
