Krispy Kreme Opens at SM Lanang Premier

Krispy Kreme Celebrates its Third Touch Down in Davao.

The whole marketing team of Krispy Kreme is back in Davao for the opening of its third branch in one of the biggest shopping malls in the city - SM Lanang Premier. On October 20, 2012, I wrote a blog post entitled "Krispy Kreme is Here!" about its opening in SM City of Davao and Abreeza Mall of Davao. Now, I am writing another one to announce that the SM Lanang Premier branch of the World's Famous Doughnut chain is now open and ready to satisfy the sweet cravings of every Davao foodie.

When I talked to Ms. Steph, one of Krispy Kreme's marketing officer, she told me that the third branch is definitely not the last branch in Mindanao. They are set to open another store in the neighboring cities of Davao. There is no final announcement on it yet but one thing is for sure, Krispy Kreme is saying "Hello Mindanao!"

Krispy Kreme shares the gift of love to the children from the Providence Home of St. Joseph. It was so sweet of the whole KK team to give back to the kids who absolutely deserve more love and care in this world. Seeing the smiles of the children as they receive their gifts was a fulfilling feeling on my part.

No wonder Krispy Kreme is successful! They do not only operate for profits but also for the benefit of those who deserve some help. In fact, during the opening of its third branch, Php10 for every dozen purchased is donated by KK to Red Cross Philippines.

“Krispy Kreme is a brand that’s all about the gift of sharing,” says Mark Gamboa, Marketing Director of Krispy Kreme Philippines. “And along with our expansion to satisfy the palates of more Filipinos, the opening of this new branch will bring with it our many efforts to continue the legacy of the brand’s ‘Share the Gift of Joy’ campaign in the country.”

Calling everyone to work hand-in-hand towards change, Krispy Kreme sets aside P20 for every sale of the brand’s specially designed Tin Can for its partner charities—12 organizations that care for the environment: ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. – Bantay Kalikasan and Philippine Native Plants Conservation Society Inc.; for creativity: Cultural Center of the Philippines, Visual Arts and Museum Division; for lives: Caritas Manila Inc., Philippine Red Cross, and ICanServe Foundation Inc.; for our animal friends: Philippine Animal Welfare Society; and of course, for kids: Operation Smile Philippines, Kythe Inc., Development and Accessibility Fund for the Deaf Inc., Autism Society Philippines, and Friends of Hope Inc.
