Homemade Kimchi Within Your Reach in Davao

We all know that Kimchi is a staple in Korean cuisine. This side dish goes a long way back in history. It has become part of the daily lives not only of the Koreans but even of some Pinoys who tried exploring the Korean culture and tradition. In the Philippines, you can only see this side dish on the groceries or in Korean restaurants. You seldom find a fellow Filipino creating her own version of the Kimchi. This is why I was happy to find out that there is actually a homemade Kimchi supplier here in Davao.

"Kimchi Ng Ate Mo" is a home-grown Davao food business that specializes in preparing the traditional Korean side dish. Behind this brand is two amazing and empowered women. Lani Lao So and Irene Lao So are sisters who have a deep love for Korean Food. As such, they have so much love for Kimchi. According to Lani,
"Store-bought Kimchi was our go-to to get our kimchi fix. However, recently the taste and quality of what we were buying has changed and just did not hit the spot anymore. We then thought, why not make our own to suit our taste?"

With this one simple thought in mind, Kimchi ng Ate Mo was officially born. The sisters-owners went to a thorough process before they were able to come up with the tasty Kimchi that they are currently supplying not only in Davao but even in other parts of the country. They can guarantee that while the ingredients are simple, the time and passion invested in making the Kimchi are at its best. As a result, they are able to come up with a product that every Kimchi-lover would definitely love.

With the support of their family and friends, Lani and Irene Lao So became more inspired to showcase their talents through the creation of Kimchi. They started promoting their products in Facebook until eventually, more and more people are starting to get interested their offering. They have already served around 114 kilos. As already mentioned above, their Kimchi reached cities other than Davao such as Tagum, General Santos and Surigao. Some customers from Singapore and Abu Dhabi have also purchased for this best-tasting homemade Kimchi.

This Kimchi is an absolute must-try! It's made out of fresh ingredients. If you are a big fan of this famous Korean side dish, then I can recommend that you try the version of "Kimchi ng Ate Mo". What's even more interesting about this product is that it does not have any artificial preservatives. Just make sure to keep it refrigerated all the time. At the same time, this Kimchi also boasts of having neither no shrimp paste nor MSG.
