Jack's Ridge Resort and Restaurant is located in Shrine Hills Matina. Because of its location, my ultimate foodie partner and I would seldom choose to have our lunch at the said place. My date doesn't want to drive all the way up to the hills especially when there are numerous restaurants in the downtown area that we could visit instead. However, for our 31st month thank you date, he chose Taklobo Restaurant. It was so sweet of him to pick me up at 10 am at my place so we could have our early lunch at Jack's Ridge.
Choosing our order was easy because we already know what we want - seafoods! Every time we dine at Taklobo, we always make sure that we select the delectable seafood dishes.
Nilasing na Hipon at only P295
Grilled Pusit (300g) at only Php 365
No to soda in can and yes to a fresh fruit juice. Thanks to my date for getting a fresh mango juice for me!
I have to admit that Jack's Ridge is one of the best places to visit in Davao city. It is perfect not only for the couples who wish to have romantic dates but also for all the families who want to spend quality time with each other. Aside from Taklobo Restaurant, other great establishments found in the compound are:
- The top
- Taklobo Restaurant
- Kai's Bar and Grill
- Karlo's Gourmet and Coffee
- Kool Kat's Pool
- Penmar Hall I & II
- Tap Room Piano and KTV new!
- Souvenir Shop
- Cottages
- Amphitheater

I don't like pusit but the plating looks good and yummy!
