Chika-An sa Davao
It was a Tuesday afternoon when I received a message from a close friend of mine. She told me that one of our batch mates in high school, Karla, just arrived from London. After four long years, Karla finally had a chance to visit the Philippines with her family. One of her itineraries was to meet us so she invited us over for a dinner. Since I don't have her number, it was Lee who texted me saying that we're going to meet at Abreeza mall.
Deciding for a place to dine was not a problem that night. Our friend already chose Chika-an which is located at the ground floor of Abreeza. Personally, I like this restaurant because they serve delectable Filipino foods at affordable prices.
Together with me were Hershey, Lee, Sunday, Karla and Geraldine (from left to right). Rey was the one who took the picture below which is why (obviously), he's not in the photo.
The best-seller of Chika-an is their Crispy Pata! It is perfectly prepared and deep fried making all of us completely satisfied.
Baked scallop is also one of my favorite dishes at Chika-an. As I've always mentioned in my previous blog posts, I have a thing for sea foods.

Instead of ordering sodas or iced tea, we decided to try the new refreshers of Chika-an. There are two flavors and we decided to get the Cool Lime! Trust me, it is the perfect beverage to complement with the delicious foods prepared by the chef at Chika-an.
