TGIF Introduces The Taste of Texas and The Passion of Mexico

We always want something new, right? TGI Friday's knows this fact and wants to make us happy so they launched a new promotion for everyone. This offer is called "Tex-Mex" which features the taste of Texas and the passion of Mexico. It is available in all TGIF branches in the Philippines. Every order of any dish under this promo entitles guests to a "buy 1 take 1" on their Corona beers. New dishes included in the Tex-Mex set are Chili Ball Park Nachos, Smoked Salmon Quesadilla, BBQ Pork Tacos and Ranchero Chicken Enchiladas. The old favorite Tostado Nachos completes the set.

Last week, I was able to try all the dishes under Tex-Mex at the only TGIF restaurant in our city - Friday's Abreeza. I must say, I had a blast. My most favorite from the set is Ranchero Chicken Enchiladas because the said dish has the right amount of spice plus it is well-paired with the chorizo rice. The next in the favorite list is the BBQ Pork Tacos. The perfectly cooked pork tenderloin with crispy fries make it truly exceptional.

Let me share to you the Tex Mex dishes!

Smoked Salmon Quesadilla
Smoked salmon, pico de gallo, tart apples and Monterey Jack cheese in crisp tortillas. Served with mango lemon slaw. Available for only P345.

Ranchero Chicken Enchiladas
Tender slow cooked chicken breast mixed with spicy ranchero, tomato sauce and melted Monterey Jack cheese rolled in corn tortilla. Topped with cheddar, pico de gallo, cilantro and source cream. Served with chorizo rice. Available for only P495.

BBQ Pork Tacos
Shaved pork tenderloin in Friday's signature BBQ sauce, pepper jack cheese, frizzled onions, south wester sour cream, pico de gallo and freshly chopped cilantro. Served with crisp golden fries. Available for only P475.

Friday’s Chili Ball Park Nachos
Deep fried tortilla chips covered with Friday's rich cheese sauce, chili and pico de gallo. Served with fresh salsa. Available in two servings: Small at P395 and To Share at P650.
